Yet another milestone in the success story of CATALOGcreator is the Solution Partnership with DS SolidWorks Corp.. By integrating the 3D-Technology 3DVIA into CATALOGcreator electronic spare parts catalogues can be generated from the CAD-Systemen SolidWorks, CATIA and Pro-E. This process compresses the 3D-Models considerably, prevents abuse and allows users to identify and order spare parts quickly and easily.
At the annual tekom-meeting from 04.-06.11.2009 in Wiesbaden this solution will be introduced to a large audience for the first time. The 3DVIA-Catalogues can be randomly accessed through either the internet, from a CD or any other storage medium. Visit our stand stand 448 in Hall 4 and convince yourself of the performance which this solution provides. Of course you will be given a demonstration catalogue on CD which you can then show your colleagues at home.
Additional information can also be foundon the SolidWorks - Website under http://www.solidworks.com/sw/products/details.htm?ProductID=3867

The MASCHINENBAUFORUM (Mechanical Engineering Forum) is an initiative furthering the exchange of experiences between executive managers in German speaking countries. Approximately 1,550 companies have been taking part in these events since 1997.
The themes and as such the agenda for each event is put to the vote by participants and interested parties. Of prime interest are the interests of medium-sized machine and installation engineering companies. The theme for autumn 2009 is "After Sales Service".
The companies using the MASCHINENBAUFORUM as a platform for their public relations act as a "best practice" role model for the selected themes.
Within this framework CATALOGcreator GmbH, together with SAP Deutschland AG and TID Informatik GmbH present innovative solutions for electronic spare parts catalogues.
