Overview of the CATALOGcreator® modules.
CC Workbench
Editorial system for the manual handling of catalogue content.
The catalogues can be either taken over from the CC DataConverter into the CC Workbench to be supplemented and revised or can be built up manually.
CC DataConverter
Serverbased tool for a fully automated process to generate electric spare parts catalogues.
The CC DataConverter takes structure and article informations, as well as 2D drawings and 3D models in different formats and builds up spare parts catalogues following predefined rules.
This catalogues can be either manually edited in the CC Worbench or be used in a fully automated process to create CD/DVD catalogues, PDF for print/web or interactive online catalogues.
CC HotspotEditor(+)
Easy to use graphic editor for "hotspotting" and editing 2D graphics.
With the CC HotspotEditor you can open about 65 different 2D formats, such as:

The graphics can be edited, hotspotted and then saved in the interactiv SVG format. SVG is a W3C web standard and is characterised by a high quality at extreme compression ratio.
For bitmap graphics the CC HotspotEditor has a configurable OCR recognition that generates hotspots from position and article numbers. Even special characters, dots and dashes in all directions are no problem.
Within vector graphics is no need to use the OCR recognition. In this case, the hotspots can be detected due to existing layers, fonts, colors, textsizes or other available attributes. By using vector graphics in the catalogue, you won't have any quality loss. Hotspots are not limited to text and geometries, you can also use contour lines to define a hotspot.
The CC HotspotEditor+ has a built in batch module, which means it can process whole stacks of drawings using predefined rules.
CC ExtensionXVL
Integration of the XVL format.
With the add-on CC ExtensionXVL the XVL Player is integrated into the electronic catalogue to use the highly compressed XVL format from Lattice Technology, Inc. to display 3D models.

CC Extension3DVIA
Integration of the 3DVIA format.
The 3DVIA format is particularly interesting for users of the CAD systems CATIA, SolidWorks and Pro-E. With help of the free 3DVIA player the compressed and abstracted 3D models can be displayed in the spare parts catalogue and linked with the BOM information.

CC InterfaceTMS
A customer demands the spare parts catalogue in his national language?
No problem: create the catalogue i.e. in english or german language and export all translatable texts with only one mouse click. The CC InterfaceTMS creates "tagged XML", like the above mentioned TMS systems require it. Your translation service provider can translate this XML file and you can import it into your existing catalogue. Done.
CC ExportDynamic
Interactive spare parts catalogue for hard disk, CD/DVD, Intranet and Internet publication.
By generating the catalogue a SQL database es being filled. Depending on the login the dedicated catalogue is created just in time. This means more or less informations can be displayed, depending on the login(user). The layout of the catalogues are nearly entirely customisable and are defined in a CSS stylesheet. Of course all world languages are already supported in the basic version.
Its always the same catalogue, no matter from which medium it is viewed. CD/DVD, hard disk, USB stick, intranet or internet, we don´t make a difference!

PDF catalogue for hard disk, web and print.
The new print module now makes it possible to fully automated generate large PDF catalogues with format changes, bookmarks, index and mulicolumn table of content in a astonishing short amount of time.

CC ModuleElectric
Integrate fully automated your electrical projects into the mechanical spare parts catalogue.
The following will be linked:
- The pages to each other via electric wire path
- The device tags with the BOM
- Articles and/or position number with the BOM
- Articles with the mechanical spare parts catalogue
The search functionality is adjusted to additionally search for places, pages, and device tags.
All common e-CAD systems such as ePlan, promis°e, WSCAD, ELCAD, ecscad, E3 and much more are supported.
An intervention or adjustment of the e-CAD system is not needed because only the standard export functionality is being used.
CC ModuleDocuLink
Fully automated link your descriptive documentation bi-directional on parts level with your spare parts catalogue.
The requirement is that the documentation was also created with a XML based tool. Thus, for example assembly instructions, error and maintainance descriptions and suggestions for spare and wear parts can directly be displayed on part level.
